The presence of flies in the house is a very common problem. These insects enter the living quarters from the outside, most often lured by the smell of superspaped food products such as fruits, vegetables or meat.
The worst bane are domestic flies, the occurrence of which is not only extremely burdensome, but also poses a threat to human health. These insects are not terrible even winter, because in buildings they are able to survive it in a state of anabiosis. That is why it is so important to combat them quickly and systematically.

What does a domestic fly look like?

It is relatively small. The female, larger than the male, can measure up to 7.5 mm in length. Her dark grey torso is covered with oblong stripes. It has a shaved abdomen (lighter on the underside) and legs with claws and clings.
With the help of a lysing type mouth apparatus, it feeds on liquid or solid food, which dissolves the enzymes contained in the saliva. The eyes of the fly provide its full field of view – 360°. This insect breathes with the help of breaths.

What damage do flies do?

It is not known from today that flies, above all, incredibly annoy people, are very disruptive insects. However, this is not the biggest problem. They leave their feces wherever they can sit – on food, walls, ceilings. The loud and unpleasant noises they make effectively disturb the peace of the household.
Home flies are most active during the day. However, this does not mean that they leave the agitated buildings quietly for the night. On the contrary, they rest, for example. on the floors. They choose more hidden places, such as horns, wall collapses, or thin objects (cables, strings). Then they wake up with the sunrise and in an unpleasant way diversify the next day to man.

Are flies dangerous for humans?

These insects pose an apparent epidemiological threat. They lay their eggs in the feces, from which they carry the bacteria on their body. The fly is able to carry up to six million microorganisms on it. In its intestine, however, the figure is already thirty million.
It is the microorganisms of the fly’s intestine that cause various severe diseases, such as typhoid paratyphoid, dysentery, cholera, tuberculosis, polio, salmonellosis and anthrax.

So how to effectively fight flies?

The most “classic” way to get rid of flies is, of course, to put on mosquito nets. However, this method is quite impractical and hinders daily functioning. Much less “invasive” are the traps for flies, which can be placed, for example, in the corner of the window. This alternative solution is completely ecological and therefore harmless to man and his surroundings. These traps catch any flying insects.

Preventive action is also very important. Just suspicion of the presence of flies can be the basis for taking concrete actions. In this case, products designed to monitor the presence of flying insects work best. Ecological fly sticks in various forms do not contain insecticides in their composition and do not emit an unpleasant odor. They can be used in both residential and commercial buildings.

However, if the problem with the presence of domestic flies is so large that gentle ecological agents do not give advice, it is worth trying biocidal substances. Use safe products for both external and internal use. The preparation in the form of a spray works comprehensively and practically immediately.

The fight against flies should begin as soon as possible. Due to their increased activity during the day, these insects rapidly spread dangerous bacteria for humans. If their presence is noticed in the house or its surroundings, it is recommended to store the food left on top. Any preventive action is also indicated.
